Saint-Gobain Transparence is India's Biggest Design Competition for students of architecture and design. For the past 18 years, Saint-Gobain in association with Ethos has been striving to provide a platform for aspiring designers to showcase their ingenuity on topics in design relevant to our times as well as apt for the future. The theme chosen for this year is ‘The Art and Science of Building Responsibly’. It involves consciously designing spaces and structures within Public/Civic Buildings, Multi-unit Housing and Institutional Buildings - that respond to the climate and context, consider the needs of the community, and improve the quality of life of its users.
